The NUANCES X-PRO Series ND 3.0 Filter from Cokin is a neutral density filter providing a 10-stop reduction in exposure. This 3.0 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or longer shutter speed than normally required. By increasing your aperture or slowing your exposure time, you can control depth of field and convey movement more easily. NUANCES filters are constructed from tempered SCHOTT B270 glass and feature nano-metallic alloy film coatings on both sides of the filter surface to attenuate infrared light and maintain true color fidelity. Multi-layered coatings further help to reduce surface reflections for increased contrast and clarity.
