Sensor Cleaning
All interchangeable DSLR and mirrorless cameras can be susceptible to getting dust on the image sensor. This can cause black spots to be visible on your images in the same location. Sometimes the spots will be more or less visible on your images depending on the camera settings.
This is caused from general usage and can be minimised by careful lens changing practice and shooting in low-dust/dirt environments but ultimately can be considered inevitable and periodic cleaning of the sensor is recommended.
We can provide a sensor cleaning service for both DSLR and Mirrorless cameras. We use only the highest quality cleaning equipment to ensure the sensor is cleaned correctly and safely. The equipment we use for sensor cleaning is available to be purchased direct from our store.

Prior to all sensor cleaning we inspect the camera and sensor condition. We record before and after images of all sensor cleans. In some cases, we cannot remove all dust/dirt due to many factors. Notes of this will be made and kept on file with the before/after test images for your camera.
Basic Clean
This is our most basic service which involves cleaning of image sensor only. We do recommend the “Works” option below to ensure longevity of the clean.
Time: 24 hours – Ready the same time the following day.
Works Clean
This is our recommended cleaning option. It involves cleaning of the chamber around the sensor, the sensor, external cleaning of the camera (screen, viewfinder), a firmware update (if available) and a general tidy up where possible.
EXPRESS Basic Clean
This is our most basic service which involves only cleaning of sensor. We do recommend the “works” option to ensure longevity of the clean.
Time:1 hour / while you wait – We will do what we can to tackle your sensor clean immediately.
EXPRESS Works Clean
This is our recommended cleaning option. It involves cleaning of the chamber around the sensor, the sensor, external of the camera, a firmware update (if available) and a general tidy up where possible.

Current Used Market Value
Valuation quote based on our assessment of your gear in its current state, we take all factors into consideration including cosmetics, included accessories and camera shutter counts.

New Replacement Valuation
Valuation quote based on the current replacement price for your gear.
Price: (TBA) If this is for a pending claim you have for stolen or damaged gear this service is usually free however if it is for other reasons there may be a cost involved so please get in touch with us to discuss options.
Damage/Loss Reports
Quote for repair of damaged gear. This may require us to send the equipment back to the servicing agent for inspection to accurately assess damage, however in some cases if we feel the gear is not economical to repair we can provide a letter explaining this and quote the current available replacement model.
